EPP’s 2nd Annual New York Trip

Each year in late March,  Endustry Power Players takes a visit to the entertainment hot spot, New York City. This annual trip is arranged by E-board members allows members to visit some of the top entertainment companies for in depth tours and internship opportunities. This year’s trip included Blue Flame Marketing, NBC Universal, VIBE Magazine, THE SOURCE Magazine, Tisch School of the Arts at NYU, and a live broadcast of BET’s 106&Park.  Check out pictures from the trip below!

EVENT RECAP: EPPlugged 4/25/12

In the midst of preparing for finals and finishing up the last week of classes, EPP members, students, and guests gathered in lower level of Cramton Auditorium, to support of some of Howard’s most talented student performers in our annual talent showcase entitled EPPlugged.

The event, which was sponsored House Studios and Anceztaz Clothing, including live performances by Courtnei Brockington, Makaela James, Tyheim Brown, Jackie Blaque, Darynell Bell and Flawed Logik, Rok Bailey, MPH, Marshall Sims, and Taz. Howard’s hottest rappers, poets, and singers put on their best for the intimate crowd.

Following the opening performers, special guest Ari Lennox provided a riveting performance of soulful covers mixed in with her original pieces. Lennox is a DC native, who has opened up for Kelly Rowland and Ace Hood in addition to making several appearances on BET’s “106 & Park.” Lennox is currently working on her new untitled EP.
